We’re turning up the heat and a little friendly competition into the mix. As well as the warm glow that comes with supporting charity, you’ll also be in with the chance to walk away with one of the following prizes:
THE CAKETOBER SHIELD…
Presented to the business that has raised the most. Don’t worry, we know that teams and groups of all sizes will be Caketobering…that’s why we’ll be working this out based on headcount. We might be ruthlessly pitting you against each other, but we are being fair about it….!
How to enter: When you are donating your Caketober fundraising total, simply let us know how much you have raised and the number of staff in your business (you can do this by emailing Samantha.Bell@theeword.co.uk or include a note when sending your cheque!) Don’t forget…if you are donating via JustGiving, you must say which company the donation is from!
THE GOLDEN ROLLING PIN…
Awarded to the baker of the ‘best dressed cake’ – quite simply, the cake that we judge the most visually spectacular!
How to enter: Take a photo of your cake and share via Twitter – making sure to include @caketober and #CakeComp in your tweet
THE CAKETOBER CROWN…
Given to the person (or team) who goes all out with their fancy dress….the only limit is your imagination!
How to enter: Take a photo of your resplendent outfits and share via Twitter – making sure to include in @caketober and #BestDressed your tweet.
KING OF THE COFFEE SHOPS…
Presented to the Mancunian coffee house who raises the most for Caketober. You can find out who is taking part here – so don’t forget to buy a slice of Caketober cake from your favourite to help them walk away with this great accolade!
